Gambling
Betting pages, casino sites, lottery funnels, and promo-heavy content.
A pause between the urge and the action
Block high-risk websites, reflect on difficult moments, and understand your patterns—all in one private, recovery-focused app.
Why it exists
When a habit becomes automatic, even a short pause can make a difference. Decipler adds practical friction without shame, giving you space to notice the trigger and decide what happens next.
Protection center
Choose a category or add a specific website. You stay in control of what Decipler blocks.
Betting pages, casino sites, lottery funnels, and promo-heavy content.
Game stores, browser games, launchers, and communities that become time sinks.
Alcohol delivery, nightlife pages, liquor promotions, and related search paths.
Graphic media, harmful communities, and unsafe content spirals.
Explicit sites, search funnels, and sensitive content that needs firm guardrails.
Feeds, reels, shorts, and scroll loops that quietly consume attention.
Intervention flow
Decipler is designed around the moment a user is about to cross a line. A blocked attempt becomes a chance to name the trigger, write it out, and return with more clarity.
Select high-risk categories and add exact websites that should stay blocked.
When a risky path appears, Decipler records the category and keeps the moment visible.
Write what triggered the urge, what choice was made, and how the body feels after.
Use activity and admin views to see patterns over time without exposing private journal text.
One focused toolkit
Protection, reflection, and progress live in one simple experience, so you can act in the moment and learn from it later.
Privacy posture
When you sign in, journal entries, protection settings, and custom website lists sync to your Decipler account.
Journal text is not posted to the community unless you separately choose to copy and publish it there.
Read what we collect, how long it is kept, and how to request access, correction, or account deletion.

Installation guide
Follow the guide for your platform. Download Decipler only from this website or the linked official Decipler GitHub release.
For supported Android phones and tablets.
Tap Download Android APK above, then open the completed file from your notification or Downloads folder.
If Android asks, open Settings and allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps. Return to the APK afterward; you can turn this permission off again after installation.
Tap Install, then Open. Version 1.25 adds confirmation popups and clear success or error notifications for important actions.
Sign in, choose your shields, tap Enable Website VPN, and approve Android's VPN prompt.
If you already installed v1.22, v1.23, or v1.24, install v1.25 directly as an update. If you still use v1.21 or an older build, sync your account data, uninstall the old app once, then install v1.25 because the privacy-safe signing certificate changed in v1.22.
For 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Tap Download for Windows above and open Decipler-Setup-0.1.6.exe from Downloads.
The installer is not yet code-signed, so SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC.” If the file came from the Decipler GitHub link above, select More info, then Run anyway when that option is available.
Choose an installation folder, finish the installer, and launch Decipler from the desktop or Start menu.
Sign in, configure your shields, and approve the Windows administrator prompt when enabling website protection.
Close Decipler from the system tray before running the newer installer. Your signed-in account data remains available after login.
Use the beta companion app from your Home Screen, Dock, or browser.
Tap Download Beta Version above. If another browser opens, copy the address and open it in Safari.
On iPhone or iPad, tap Safari's Share button. On Mac, continue to the next step.
On iPhone or iPad, tap Add to Home Screen. On a supported Mac, choose File → Add to Dock in Safari when available.
Open Decipler from your Home Screen, Dock, or browser and sign in to use your journal, community, messages, and support tools.
This is the companion web app, not a native iOS or macOS release. System-wide website blocking is currently available only on Android and Windows.
